Yumurama (Circle)
It's been 3 months since our last straight up hot sauce post.
That's right, it's time to showcase another talent.
Only the good s*** today, in masses, by one incredible creator ?
Meet Yumurama: probably one of the most veteran pixel artists in the scene.
Their first debut was somewhere around 2011, and ever since they've been putting out stunning pixel work that only kept improving over time.
A very good example to their dedication and passion behind their work can be seen through their OC "Tecna" - a blue big tiddied beauty that appears to be an easy-going Valkyrie of sort.
Her bust is almost always drawn disproportionally to her body (in a good way), and often seen with her feathered headband, super tight top, and exclusively wearing only panties, or nothing at all..
So to give you a good measure of how far they've come since their debut, take a look at their timeline of Tecna's development:

From their first concept it is very clear that they were polishing their skills long before, as even that level of drawing can already be seen in commercial projects.
Other than Tecna, they've been drawing a lot of their own themed characters and also parody ones from other popular titles such as Final Fantasy, Shantae, Pokémon and more.
You can probably count on one hand the amount of characters they drew under F cup, which by personal taste I certainly appreciate, as I find big bosoms to create the best first impression: They immediately grab attention, even if you're an ass person, since you'll often first get welcomed by the front first.
Although they can draw stunning fully detailed images, their focus is more directed at models. When browsing their work you'll mostly see characters on a single color background or a flat out drawing grid, kinda like the image above.
And that's honestly what I appreciate the most about artists that I cover, having such a unique direction that you can easily distinguish one from the other. One glance at the artwork's style is all it take to immediately recognize who's behind it.
So other than being really good at what they do, Yumurama's also took part in a commercial project that I've already reviewed: "Warrior Girl". (Great game, make sure to check it out!)
Warrior Girl sold incredibly well (13k copies), and seem to have opened our artist's appetite for more - a project of their own, where they're not just a credit in the ending.
The game in development is called "トカゲのくしやき". Having no official English name yet, the rough translation is "Lizard Skewers". Not quite sure what Lizards got to do with the screenshots, but I might have a slight clue about the "Skewers" part...

Having no doubt we're looking at a WIP top shelf project, you can trust yours truly to cover it as soon as it's out.
Overall, Yumurama is by far one of my most favorite pixel artists, and an inspiring creator in their own right.
? All you gotta do is check out their Twitter to find an artist that posts very often and never sleeps, always sharing or working on the next thing.
As a fellow creator I can only wish for myself to have that kind of burning drive for many years to come.
Similar to other Japanese artists, Yumurama stays only on Japan's socials such as Pixiv, Skeb, and Fantia.
But if you're just looking for some good material all in one place, then I suggest following their Twitter, which is a literal gold mine.
