It's time for another rare big belly post.
Understandably it's a very specific fetish. There's no inner debate such as ass or tits.

You're either into Inflation / weight gain, or you're not.
Personally? not my thing. But a good part of my audience is, and as you already know, there's zero discrimination on this blog.

Culture comes in all shapes and forms, and in our case today - a VERY big form!

The reason I picked these two particular creators for this post is because you cannot cover one without the other.

Basically, what we have here is a clear case of who came first, and the power of opportunity.

Hexalt has been in the big belly scene for a very long time since 2014.
They posted their first artwork on DeviantArt, but only about 3 years ago they actually brought life to their works through short interactive minigames.

To be completely honest, I'm not surprised at all at how they managed to gain popularity, given the genius idea of creating a Tetris game based on food and weight gain - "Yuletide Sophia".

Sophia had plenty of food left in Xmas, so the only logical decision was to eat it all.
Shove down food in her throat at the form of the familiar Tetris shapes, until her stomach completely fills up as you'll see illustrated on the left side.

It's simple, provides replay value, hits all the fetish checkboxes in both visuals and digestive sounds. Everything the common belly enjoyer can possibly ask for.

Following the positive reception, Hexalt created another 5 short games to this date, starring their own original characters that they've featured on social media and Patreon:

⛷️ Ski Free 2: A first person game where you escape the hungry Yeti while feeding her whatever you can grab until she can't move anymore.

? Mangia!: Sabrina must survive an onslaught of delicious Italian meals!
Feed the dogs when the cook isn't looking, but also chow them down when they overweight the table.

☕ Tea Party Troubles: Featuring a character heavily based on American McGee's Alice.
Feed her with sweets and confectionaries by controlling the bridges between the tables. Avoid the spicy sausages!

? Anna Drinks a Lot of Milk: Nurse Anna Ozimov's weird, surrogate pregnancy causes her some pretty strong cravings. Myra McDowell, who is a certified pregnant belly enjoyer, will help her out by relieving pressure with belly massage and bringing her gallons of milk!

? Sophia and the Secret Grotto: Sophia and the Secret Grotto follows archaeology student Sophia Nairian on an investigation into a hidden underground complex - a series of tunnels riddled with the tricks and japes of the supernatural fairies.
Along the way there will be mini games to play, puzzles to solve, and strange meals to eat.

- Hexalt posts pretty often on their Twitter, anything from images, to projects updates, to retweets of their other favorite weight gain creators.

While Hexalt paved his unique path in the big belly interactive projects, another artist and developer followed their footsteps making their debut a few years ago - EncyclicalApex.

"The student that surpassed its master" is the best way I'd describe Apex.

All of their artwork is softer, both in color and curves.
There's a lot more finesse to it, where Hexalt's rough illustrations look like they were pulled out of MSpaint, Apex gives us artwork that's easy on the eyes where even someone like me can easily enjoy looking at.

Apex admitted to gain inspiration for their projects from Hexalt, and the overall art direction when checking their deviant art also appears similar - inserting their own OC in different bloated / pregnancy situations as if they build a sort of universe around them.

He released his first game "Bloated Meg" at the end of 2021, which was an identical concept to "Yuletide Sophia", but well... better both visually and feature-wise, having an actual animated gallery locked behind in-game challenges.

I was a bit amused was when I came across Apex' first, only to find out that his projects are "remakes" to the OG, which by far played and looked better.

Unfortunately the higher quality didn't translate to bigger following.
A simple comparison between Hex to Apex' Patreons will show the latter is smaller by x6 times, releasing just as much content within the same vein.

I write about all of this to remind everyone, including myself, that especially on the internet - size does not matter. (Besides the belly...)

Following the positive reception of Bloated Meg, Apex continued to release another 3 projects:

? Meg VS Darkota - Rival Bellies: Another take on a classic game - Pong.
A drinking air hockey game where the each player gains weight for every point lost.

? Monaco Snacks - Lance and Carol: An "upgraded" Bloated Meg game back with more Tetris and belly weight gain, only that this time we have a bit more story and sexy interactions...

? Dawn - Flight and Apples: A very small project inspired by Flappy bird, minus the ceiling obstacles. Collect apples (no active weight gain) until you fill the bar and watch the cute little ending.

Phew, a bit of a lengthy post.

Normally I'd cover one circle at a time, but in this case I felt that the similarities were too great to not include both creators.
