Rnot2000 (Circle)
Hoo boy, how do I begin? ?
This blog was made to first and foremost recommend the good stuff, filter all the low effort projects that will waste your time and leave you with a sad limp noodle.
You click on a "game", you discover it has a low amount of assets to work with, might've got you a little "awaken", but it wasn't quite it.
Alas, another disappointment.
Well, allow me to introduce Rnot2000 - the dev behind many simulation projects that the ad that pops between sessions in your unpaid premium phone game has more engaging gameplay.
"So why even recommend them?"
Perhaps when they started out I'd agree that they have no place here, but by today they have grown their library of popular fictional characters so much that I feel we have a nice little treasure trove here.
Within a year, they have released around 30 (!!!) simulation games from various animated shows of popular anime and Cartoon Network.
Each game plays exactly the same:
- Different outfits and accessories for the girl.
- Slight pose changes of either of the partners.
- Speed change or Autoplay.
- Climax shot and other small features.
Now, these are all basic projects, but given that each one can be downloaded for FREE of their itch.io page, I'd say it's absolutely worth checking out as a collection, treating all of them as part of a single app with a massive library. (THAT is something I can get behind!)
Add to the fact that they have also been working on a "My Hero Academia" adventure game. Yes, another one...
Just like the others, it's also a mix of VN with turn based combat system, with skills, gear and all that.
The MHA project is still in its diapers and too early to leave a proper review about, but I do have mixed feelings rather about its development process, since the dev was originally "borrowing" a few background assets from another title.... (already changed)
Yeahhh... now you understand why I was a bit hesitant with this post.
Rnot2000 has admitted to trace some of the artwork, while also creating completely original designs at the same time.
Given the pace they are churning out all of these "XXX simulators", I'd say have the tools to create something big, but lack the ambition to grind teeth, clench their a-hole, and focus at one project that will blow us away.
Posts like this are a bit of a curveball, because I do believe you'll find some good material within all these small projects, and perhaps even enjoy their work so much that you'll support them on their Patreon -> Patreon members also unlock extra features in ALL the simulation games.
As mentioned before, in case you missed, all of Rnot2000's projects can be download for FREE on their itch.io.
