Nepgear, Uni, Rom, and Ram enter the woods to locate a program against Arfoire. Overwhelmed in battle against lizards, a carnivorous plant ambushes from behind: it swallows Rom first with vines, then Ram despite Uni's attempts to save her. Nepgear finishes the lizards but is dragged in next, followed by Uni. Inside the plant's acidic stomach, the twins melt quickly, and soon Nepgear and Uni soften and dissolve too, leaving only slimy shoes, hats, and accessories regurgitated onto the forest floor as remnants of their failed adventure.
