In the frozen silence of the arctic frontier, a string of brutal killings leaves nothing but shredded tents, blood-soaked snow, and tracks that vanish into the endless white. A small investigation team—trappers, scientists, and one shaken survivor—braves blizzards, isolation, and their own fraying nerves as they hunt for the killer. But the truth prowls just beyond the firelight: ancient, intelligent winter wolves, predators born of ice and shadow, stalking the living with eerie cunning. As the storm closes in and bodies mount, the team must unravel the mystery before they become the next to disappear beneath the snow.
