Newsletter: January #1 (tl;dr at the end)

I hope you’re all starting 2026 on a good note!

Quick schedule update:
The 2025 comic schedule is largely maintained, with a few small adjustments.

On W2 comic rotations, Unsheltered Sq32 will take priority until the Angelstorm arc is fully completed. I’m also giving myself the option of doing two rotation comics per W2, as long as they aren’t both fully shaded.

If a fully shaded comic wins the rotation vote, it will take priority over the simpler one for time-management reasons and, frankly, so I don’t kill myself overworking if the shaded comic ends up taking the entire week to produce.

Reminders & ongoing projects:

• HMGBAPS main story arc is planned to conclude in early 2026

• Pending commissions & sketch backlog will resume this January

• Lunar Towers returns in January 2026, running on W2 alongside Unsheltered
  → Priority will be given to Lunar Towers
  → If Lunar Towers 20 is completed before Thursday the 15th, an Unsheltered page will be added to this week, time allowing.

About your suggestions:

I’ve reviewed them all and there were some really cool ideas in there, thank you!

• The suggestion of a side comic to HMGBAPS to keep the characters alive and drawn more frequently is an excellent one, and I’m planning for it to join the W2 rotation.

• The idea of more petite characters (like the Hina-inspired Iris Wu) is also very interesting and something I’ll be keeping in mind going forward

Comic popularity & stats (yes, I like stats):

• I’m currently establishing a comic priority order based on your preferences

• This order will help me decide what should continue, and what may be sunsetted (especially if no one really care about them. Though if I do, they won't. :p)

• For now this is mainly for my own tracking, but it will also help determine the post-HMGBAPS and post-Unsheltered Sq32 order
