The Gardens Of Ruby

Ruby took a deep breath and walked through her Ivory gardens. She had a client to see, but the sight she found among the kept bushes changed her plans. 

It was Mr.Tusktooth. Who was enjoying the lively perfume of the flowers and beautifully kept sights of the Ivory Gardens, far from the Palace. She greeted the man with an elegant bow and offered her elbow for a trusted walk through the paths surrounded by flowers.

Amid conversation, a realization struck her. The reason why she liked the young gentleman so much. He reminded her of the man who had been her visitor many years ago. And she wondered, lost in her thoughts, isolated from the circumstances, what would happen if they were together again? Would it feel like old times? Would the prize be worth the risk of getting caught? 

'The heart... It is always worth it.' She interrupted mid-sentence.

'I beg your pardon?'

'Mr.Tusktooth, I couldn't help but notice how kind you were with Jester and the other ladies of the establishment.' Ms.Ruby brushed off like a champ, '...you truly set yourself a path for aspirant men in the art of how to treat a woman.'

The slightest blush could be noticed on a certain sailor's cheek, 'You honor me with your grace, Lady Ruby. Yet I am just but a man.' After gaining back his posture and tone, he replied, 'It is the way to behave in front of a princess--' He stopped on his steps to face the crimson lady, kissing her hand: '--and a queen.'

It was butterflies. And she knew it wasn't the surrounding flowers. Yet what Mr.Tusktooth didn't realize was that they were heading towards the Garden Bed, a space reserved for the very privacy of Lady Lavorre and her personal guests.

Yet even far from the Palace, some curious eyes and ears saw and heard the scene unfolding between the banks of bushes and roses.

But in all seriousness, me mateys, I wanted to share with you that this month shall be a bit a-typical for obvious reasons (Spoiler: ???), and this Cap'n was hoping to give our hardworking team a few days off from duty for their lovely mental health! ???

This is why I wanted to share with all of you, me hearties, that there won't be an animation poll this month, but instead, I shall proceed to animate the second winner from last month's poll! (At least the topic, as you can see ;)). So we can say this month's booty shall be quite a gem ;)

I am very, very thankful to all of you, my gorgeous sailor, for supporting this path and journey even in such rough times like these are to us.

You are simply fantastic, a work of wonder, my little starlings! And this adventure is yet to show many new stories and horizons ahead, waiting for us to be discovered.???
