WIP - November Part 2.

Hey everyone, hopefully you’ve all been enjoying the new update. I know there has been a few bugs mainly to do with the new scene but I’ve been working on getting them all fixed ready for the next update along with adding some new stuff kind of following on from where we left off.

Runners Up Character - Lara C At The Moment

Starting off with the main thing coming this update, the winner from the runners up poll, it was very very close at the start but its looking like once character is starting to look like they’ll win. At the moment that is Lara C so I have gone and done her head design in full colour just to be ready and also o give you something to look at this post.

Below is an updated one as someone said some features weren't perfect, let me know which is best

If she doesn’t win I will do the one who does this is just to prepare for what will probably happen. If you see anything about her design that could be better though let me know and I’ll get that fixed before adding her into the game.

I expect her to be added to the first 12 or so scenes like character normally are and then for her quest line I’m going to have to think of something good, it might be some dialogue also with a puzzle could be cool I’ll have to see what I can do

Thr*esome Scene Fixes

Now starting with the Thr*esome scene stuff. There was two main bugs with this scene, neither of them too bad just some weird stuff could happen. Firstly the quest line, when you talk to the characters that you need to in order to unlock the quest the talk button would stay there making it look like it hadn’t worked. Now this will toggle off so you can see that the dialogue has started and then you can click through all of that until that part of the quest completes

Secondly the bug in the actual scene, when you click to load a character the game has to load in the characters head and all the other assets that go along with it, this takes a bit of time and while its doing that if you click the character or any other character again it will also try to load them at the same time. This can cause double heads to be loaded in the same place with some overlapping bugs.

Now when you click the character it will still load it but clicking any other character will not do anything and the selection window will automatically close once the character has been loaded in.

Hopefully these two fixes make the scene just a bit better but let me know if you find any other bugs or things that could work a bit smoother

Squ*rting Thr*esome Scene

Next thing to do with the Thr*esome scene that I wanted to add in the last update but ran out of time due to everything else I was having to do with it, the squ*rting for the girl on the right.

Here you can see a quick preview of what one of them might look like, there are 4 different animations that can be played and I am either going to set it to play just one or have a small break and then play a second random one, I’ll test it out a bit more and see which looks best.

Anyway at the moment these are the ones from the M*ssionary v2 scene as both of them are similar views and positions and I thought this would be the best way to get it added in for now. At some point in the near future, maybe if the scene improvements option wins the feature focus poll, I would like to get this update to a better animation along with getting the M*ssionary v2 one updated as I think both of them could do with it.

This will be with the girl on the right, I could add one for the girl on the left as well but for now we’ll have it like this. It will also be enabled when you fill the bar on the left like you do with many of the other scenes

Hair Bounce Thr*some Scene

Another thing that I was not able to get added in the last update because I wanted to check how the code for actually loading in the heads was working, was the hair bounce. This adds another layer of complexity to how the heads are set up as the hair that needs to bounce has to be moved from the part the makes the had move to the part that makes the hair bounce while also keeping it in sync with everything else

Here is how its looking for some of the characters, I do still need to set it up for most of the others but I will have that done in time for the next update.

Switching Character Sides

Final part about the thr*esome scene and this was actually a suggestion from someone that I thought would be quite a nice Qom improvement. Basically when you have a character loaded on one side you can’t load them on the other, I did this to stop the code breaking and getting confused how many times a character had been loaded and then not being able to actually unload them.

I have now updated the code so that if you select a character on say the right but that character is already loaded on the left it will just switch the sides of the character. Now this does take a bit of time to actually do as it has to first unload the character and then reload them back in. It might sound like why don’t you just move the heads but its better this way to make sure the loading system can keep track of where everything is so hopefully that’s ok

Characters Added To Scenes

For the characters added to scenes this update the main focus has been on getting as many added to the new Thr*esome scene as possible.

I really want to try and get all of these added quickly so it gives you the full selection of who you want to pair each and every character with.

So far for the next update I have added all the way up to Moxxi which is quite nice.

I would like to add around another 8 maybe depending how much time I get as these do take a bit longer to add especially when the characters have multiple head designs which a lot of them have now.

Either way we will be getting through all of these very soon and then everyones character should be there. The only thing that I might need a bit more testing with is when I add Mirko, Yoruichi, Lola etc as this will then mean I have to load in different character bodies which will add another layer of complexity. But im sure it should be fine

F*rry Poll Update

This isn’t something new for the update but something I wanted to quickly speak about. Basically for the F*rry poll I put Millie in as she was suggested for this poll so I thought she was ok. I’m not the most well versed in all of this but I should have checked that she would actually count towards this them. A few people have said she doesn’t really and as we haven’t had one of these polls for a while I thought it would probably be unfair to have her be the winner.

Now I can’t remove her because I don’t have he option and also it seems like a lot of people want her so would unfair to them but the two options I have to make sure everyone is happy is to either 

Leave it how it is with the two polls and add the winners, then the next character poll would be a F*rry poll from the other characters (Not including Queen B as I feel like she falls into the same category).

Or 

Keep Millie as the winner, assuming she wins, but not add for a month or two just until I have a bit of free time to get her added, she would also be a buy with coins one to make it a bit easier. Then for the mid month update next month when the winner of this poll was meant to be added we would add the next character down (Not including Queen B as I feel like she falls into the same category).

I think either of these would work fairly for everyone so the people that wanted Millie would still get her and the people that want more of a actual F*rry character would also get that.

At the moment the F*rry character that would be added if not Millie would be Ippan so here’s how she’s looking if that changes your mind on what you’d like to see done :)

Let me know about those ideas though and I will probably do a poll at the start of next month to see which option you think is best once the character poll has actually ended and we know what characters would be added

Outfits

For the outfit this update I would like to keep the focus on the Full Unique ones as I didn’t get any done last update.

The scene I would like to get them added to the most is still the Legs Spread On Desk as I have some good sketches ready and I just really like how they are all looking here.

I know a lot of people would also like to see some more in the D*ggy Close Up so I will also try and get a couple of these done for the next update.

Here are the two I would most like to get done but if there are any others let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Head Designs

For the character head designs it has been a long time but this is finally going to be the update that either Mirko or Dva get a new head design. Both of them already have two designs but the second is more of an update to make the drawing better.

These new designs will be more of a variation and will give a different feel to the ones they already have. At the moment its looking like Mirko will get hers done first but let me know if you’d prefer Dva

Still Images & Animations

Finally for the still image stuff. I would like to continue a bit from the last update adding some more than usual to this update

For the images im going to go with another one for Chel & Emma and then a third one for either of them.

I also have some more sketches ready for Nico R & Deer Girl which im going to get donee very soon, here is how a few of them look though.

Then for the image animation I would like to get at least one more of these added, the one I have gone for is Chun Li..

This is quite a complex one as there’s multiple character but its coming along very well so im excited for it

That’s everything I had to show you for now, a lot of it is work in progress but im hoping to have as much done for the next update as possible so there’s something for you all to enjoy. Let me know what you’re thinking about it all though :))
