2023 March Pinup - Daring Park Wear

"A bit daring to wear that to the park, eh Sassy?"

Still working on trying to get the face and body to match in terms of shading... Thing is, I want to be careful how much detail I put in the face, to avoid losing the anime-esque look that I like, while at the same time I want to highlight the curves, like the abs, and this more detailed shading works well for that. Maybe I should study how some 3d anime style art pulls it off (Overwatch, some Pixar films, etc), and apply it to my illustration work... Eh, seems my style is ever a work in progress! XD

I gotta say, painting that tuft of grass at the bottom was an experience! I aught to learn Clip Studio Paint and try to make some of those custom brushes I see people using for grass and leaves, etc. Right now I'm just using Sai's round brush and a custom square brush for pretty much everything. It works, but I often wonder how much custom brushes would speed up my work flow. 

Lots to experiment with. Anyways, on to the next drawing!
