A four-legged fiend, withered and shivering, no more than knee-high. Gribbles are a form of diminutive carrion-eating scavenger native to the harsh deserts of the lower planes, known primarily for the dreadful noises they make when agitated, and for their propensity for being easily agitated. They cultivate toxic glades of cursed fungi in tiny communal desert burrows, grown on strips of flesh torn from creatures that succumb to the infernal elements. While mostly immune to the effects of these fungi, constant exposure does ultimately cause the gribble’s signature wheezy voice and relentless shivering.
