Sally on Vacation

I decided to incorporate the 90’s anime coloring style on Sally Acorn. The hallmarks of this coloring style are bright, saturated colors and high contrasts between values. I actually wanted to emulate the airbrushed style of SEGA’s Akira Watanabe, but I went with cel-shading instead. I spent most of my time modeling the background in Blender (well, the terrain and the ocean. The rest were bought from CGTrader.), and I wanted the colors to be as bright as the character, so I think I did a good job there.
