Brenda "BoomBoom" Bell was a down on her luck stripper who took a job at a lab as a test subject to make a quick buck. The lab was run by William Marston, a deranged scientist experimenting with teleportation. Though the head of a prestigious lab at Titan Corp his experiments were off the books and unknown to the corporation . Upon setting eyes on Brenda the old lech hired her. It is rumored that the had a heart attack mid-experiment and Miss Bell was left in the teleportation tube for an entire weekend.

The effect of her being teleported between the two tubes nonstop until the machine overheated and exploded was one of the most powerful super humans the world has ever known. Now simply called "BoomBoom" she works for the United States Governmant as it's main enforcer even though she is mentally unstable.*
