After more than a year, I’m finally ready to announce my new project: Playnix. But don’t worry, EmuDeck isn’t going anywhere or losing any attention, as you've read this week we are working hard on the Android port.

Playnix aims to be for PC gaming what EmuDeck is for emulation: an easy way to get into PC gaming.

• Console gaming is simple but comes with downsides like expensive games compared to PC, limited to current-gen titles, and lower performance than a PC counterpart.

• PC gaming, on the other hand, is messy with too many costly hardware options, bulky cases (even the Fractal Ridge is too big), and a steep learning curve. You can easily overspend or underspend and not be happy with your setup. But Steam is fantastic. You can play both new AAA releases and classics, and with SteamOS, PCs can be dead simple to use

  That’s where the Playnix Console comes in. It’s built from a curated selection of components that hit the sweet spot between performance and price, designed for effortless couch gaming to make PC gaming more accessible.
