Mad Cat Mk II Concept

I've been itching to show this one off since I finished it, or even earlier when it first came down the assignment pipe.

The Mad Cat Mk II. One of my favorite mechs that we hadn't gotten to yet.
I was a big fan of it in MW4, and the Matt Plog lineart has stood the test of time also. Even the old IWM sculpt looks great, if a little funky proportionally. I also had a few fanart takes of my own from years past. Those definitely weren't peak Mk II.
With that in mind it was a balancing act of choosing the best parts from the bunch, when many areas had multiple great options. The arms follow a lot from Plog, while mixing in a little MW4 housing. The missile launchers went to the MW4 look, a little more reasonably sized for only being LRM10s, and I love the angled up style. The cockpit is closer to the IWM mini, but as we trail back to the torso it picks up more from MW4, but retains those fun cylinder objects up top from Matt. Finally the legs lean heavily into the MW4 style, but also takes into account the future Mk IV designs we already have, pulling details in from the Savage Wolf.

I tell ya it's quite a struggle to get the proportions right on this one as we head into the 3D stages. Big gun arms, lots of torso bits, wide stanced knee joints. I spent a lot of time pushing things around to balance chunky and wide vs sleek and nimble, in what I consider should be the most elegant looking of the Mad Cat / Timber Wolf lineage.

Very looking forward to hearing what you all think of it.
