A(I) new era of art thieves

Hello dear Patrons! ?

I am pissed! I just discovered that this guy (elygordan) steals other artists work, reprocess it with AI (img2img), and has the balls to put his own signature on top. That's what I call a shameless thief! I spotted him thanks to DA protect (which is an automated image recognition system that detects similar artworks and copies). I can't believe this guy has the guts to do that, calling himself an artist, and even create a patreon and propose commissions to make money from stolen artwork, what a piece of shit! ?

We have entered a new era of art theft and modification, one of the sad consequences of AI with people without misgivings and principles.

I'm not gonna put my finger on all the things that are wrong on earth and the bad people, but I just needed to get this information out of my chest!
