One Pump! - OPC Dev Log 3

In One Pump Chump, the central gimmick and namesake of the game is the curse that befalls the protagonist and Tatsumaki. Both characters are unable to feel sexual pleasure from the same act twice. This turns each meeting into a desperate escalating game of more extreme acts.

In Act 1, which will be the game's first release, there will be a focus on gradual escalation between Tatsumaki refusing physical contact, to more intimate acts. Writing a tsundere learning love and giving into her desires has been a treat.

In Act 2, once certain boundaries have been broken, the game will focus on a variety of unique acts, costumes and transformations. This'll include things like Goth, or Cat Girl. I have over twenty unique scenes planned for this segment of the game.

So we've learned about raising her affection through dialogue, and the planned sexual content, but what about the gameplay?

I've coded a turn-based RPG system which came out a lot better than I expected. It's my own code in Ren'Py, so it'll be a lot simpler than the craziness that Monster Girl 1,000 ended up being, but it has a lot more depth and punch compared to Unveiling the Unknown that was essentially an idle clicker game.

I even have dynamically updating tooltips!

There are 28 upgrades available, divided into three combat styles and then the ability to upgrade your daily income of Mag.

Physical combat is all about taking and dealing pain, with high single-target damage. Skills cost HP, but the stat that governs physical damage, Might, also governs defense:

Alchemy has high multi-target damage, and it's all about micromanaging unique status effects that can all stack:

Esper is more about explosive power, sometimes dictated by your current Lust value:

And all attacks have unique effects and audio:
