?️ Development update #2

Hello Slippers! ?
The end of April tends to be a bit slower due to the holiday season (Easter, National Pride Days here in Poland). But despite all the breaks and time off, we've hit some solid milestones - and here’s what the team’s been up to lately: 

⚔️ Gameplay:

Our focus has been on adding a new enemy type, while continuing to refine combat and prototype systems for deckbuilding.

  • New enemy: Hulk Knight – a heavy type with high damage and defense capabilities



  • Snow White’s attack tweaks and refinements

  • Deckbuilding systems – we're building out mechanics for buff/attack modifiers and synergy systems

? Story:

Writing this month has been all about nailing our tone in dialogue and laying the groundwork for visual novel elements:

  • New story bits for the main cast

  • Lore work for both NPCs and the player avatar

  • Narrative design tying VN-style storytelling into character development

? Art:

The art team’s working on a new battle test arena using proper game assets and lighting. A new biome has entered the concept phase, and several characters have received concept or animation updates.

  • New battle arena for the upcoming Patreon build

  • New NPCs:

    • Fairy Godmother (player's guide) 

    • Mr. Snail (vendor)


  • Maidens Ward got a new room for the Fortuneteller NPC

  • Animations for a long-range/agile enemy

  • Huntsman boss is getting final attack animations

  • Fire FX work for deck buffs and special attack visuals


? What can you expect in the next Patreon build?

Battle tweaks, gameplay polish, and - most importantly - the Hulk Knight will be available for testing in both the old and new battle arenas!
