FF8 Laguna Glow

I have 2 terabytes of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth footage that for some asinine reason won't fucking function in my editing software, and won't convert without corrupting itself, so while i spend the next year of my life trying to figure that shit out, here's Final Fantasy 8.

This is the most underappreciated game in the series. It totally kicks ass, the story is completely insane, and it even has Laguna, the ultimate Giga-Chad of the entire franchise. If Laguna were in Final Fantasy 7 the game would be significantly shorter because he'd topple Shinra by himself, bitch slap Sephiroth and riddle Jenova in the middle of little Italy with a damn drive-by because he's gangster like that

Laguna's so cool I'm not even gonna waste your time grumbling and bumbling through the first 5 hours of this game. I'm picking it up right here in one of his many totally rad flashback-dream-sequence-things that exist to confuse the player, barely make any sense and aren't even slightly explained until like the 3rd disc. Final Fantasy 8 doesn't give a fuck if you're confused, it too is gangster like that.

I actually somewhat dislike this particular flashback because these turquoise crystal science-fiction caves mess with my brain and every time i touch this game i dread running around confused in them. But it doesn't matter, Laguna's my hero and Final Fantasy 8 is an unsung masterpiece.

I blame Spoony for ruining this game's reputation by calling it gay, which back then was a devastating cultural judgment, the way being straight is now. Even worse, he later apologized for calling it gay because someone somewhere decided that's "problematic" or something, which is the gayest shit I've ever heard, so i guess we know who was really the Gaytard all along.

That's the only thing i will ever criticize Spoony for, by the way. Any other reasons anyone has for not liking him, i don't give a rat's ass about because I have a life, and i don't feel that internet creators owe me anything, least of all a lifetime of self-debasement and public humiliation. That's my opinion, and it's also the correct one.

Spoony's a legend and Final Fantasy 8 rules. Both things can be true, and anyone who tells you different is gay as fuck and fucking stupid as shit.
