Monkey Husbands (WiP shots)

As you can see, I had a different idea for this illustration's background as I was drawing it! I was thinking of having Cain and Percy stand in a field of cute mushrooms, since they're merchants in a fantasy world, and I thought that could have given the scene a cutesy witchy vibe!

However, while I put some colors on the backgrounds, I realized it would be more fun to make it an abstract background to really emphasize their figures instead of the nature around them. I still have fun drawing all of those puffy mushrooms though, even if I didn't have a chance to use them!
