Roaring Spirits - Blanchette Concept Art

Initial concepts for a cloth-themed Roaring Spirits fighter -- decided to name her Blanchette (Blanchett??) since it just seems.... fitting! It's a French sounding name, but I'm thinking of making her an English/British cat. :)

So, the idea was that I wanted to create a character themed around a sentient blanket -- this blanket can take on several forms, including that of a scarf, hood, or other head/neck accessories. Blanchette imbues her inner spirit to command a uniquely sewn blanket, and this blanket can even move and behave on its own for a period of time. Think something like, Dr. Strange's cloak or Aladdin's Magic Carpet!

So yes, the blanket can not only act on its own, it can be pet, sense potential dangers, block dangerous attacks, and even sometimes disobey due to having its own semi-consciousness. She's more often than not, pretty good at commanding it though.

Its very flexible, stretchy, near indestructible and its pretty soft and cozy to boot.
