Anduo Report - March 23rd, 2023
Heya, bear here! Here's the latest news from Anduo Games!

For Erokin, Some smaller changes were made - upgraded flags and flag holders, had some enjoyable time with texture creation and here is a couple of examples in before/after manner. Finally made a proper fountain for our mains square, with a couple new touches.
Guard house is ready, with awesome mosaic glass artwork made by Ilwha, we also already have an idea of an interior for it - it's shaping to be quite a place to visit.
Past week we also had an meeting with feedback on the state of a game from all the members of the team, and that helped a lot, for me it helped to move past our established layout, I found myself being too marry to existing layout of the street and dark alley area, so after that I remodeled it to fit our needs better, we don't have much of content in plans for the general street buildings, so even tho we liked how long curvy street looked, some changes were in order to make a room for our main point of interest in this area - guild building, So here are a couple screenshots of new street, guild building itself is still in constructions, but the scale if there, had a bunch of ideas how to liven up the street and guild with foliage and veins and plan to show it to you rly soon too :) but for now here it is what we've got:

Heya, yall!
Sorry for the radio silence in the last weeks. We've been hard at work as you'll shortly see. Work on Third Crisis, Erokin and Rosas are Red is progressing in many ways. Sadly I got sick twice and on top of that, my time was also occupied by some business related things that needed to be done. Hopefully though, the things I'm doing on that front should make it so that I don't have to spend more than the bare minimum on anything that's not game development! c:
Most of my time was spent on Erokin. We had an internal playtest of the latest very janky build and that was SO helpful. Being in voice chat with people while they play the build and having their screen shared was eye opening really. I think we'll do more of these internal playtests.
Anyways, enough talk, here's pretty pictures! I've experimented with Screen Space Global Illumination:
Note the red curtains having visible creases now:
Note the lower ass area of the red haired elf:
As you can see, this screen space effect adds much depth to the market. I also tried using it on our main town square, but due to the scale of the area, the effect did not look good at all there sadly.
Next, I worked on a sex scene that Orochi had animated for us months ago, but I didn't have the focus to get it actually integrated into Unity. Since he animated it, we have changed the elven model quite a bit, which meant I had to update the sex scene with the latest model. Then I decided she should get the treatment of our new wetness workflow and also sloppy liquid stuff! ^-^

Then, I implemented the elf fucking a dildo into unity, this was animated by Nerada!

The tentacles shown here are different now though. We wanted them to be more fleshy while still being magical. I don't think we're quite there yet, but we're getting closer!
The tentacles now have realtime stretch and fold detection, resulting in squished areas getting wrinkles. Also there's an animated waterdrop texture on them now, which makes them way more sloppy c:<

After the playtest that I mentioned in the beginning, one point that everyone agreed on was that the existing sex scenes need to be put into view better. While we do have a free-camera mode, having an automated system that gives you great views of the scenes is just nicer. So I did that! :D

The game has a system that lets us create different camera angles, even moving camera tracks with ease! This will let us create tons of interaction points throughout the game for you all to enjoy the view! ^-^
I also added a bunch of quality of life things after the playtest, like new settings for the photomode, minimum / maximum zoom for the player camera and a few other small things.

Then I created a sprinkler for the flowers in town:
Okay, jokes aside, I created a vfx system that shoots out cum/melt. The plan is to have alda be hit by the mystical "melt" substance, which makes her hornyyyyy... Can you tell we're a porn game lmao.
I then made a bunch of animations for Alda to have her react to getting hit with melt, a horny idle animation, a horny walk animation and a masturbation animation. There's a bug right now with the melt-swipe-off animation, where her hand goes into the boob for some reason Q-Q

On top of all of this, there is a TON of voice acting coming in, I hope we'll be able to make great use of it! ^-^ Lots of moaning, but also a significant amount of dialogue

Rosas are Red has a programmer working on it, fixing a long-standing issue with the scrolling in the messenger app. In the current build, if you scroll up past 30 messages, some of the messages are duplicated or out of order. We hope to fix this by using a plugin called EnhancedScroller. We're running into some complications implementing this plugin, but we're working through them.

Hello everyone Desva here. I worked on the new level the last few weeks. Since we will have a lot of mechanics in this level it ended up being a lot bigger than we anticipated. On top of the new tile minigame, we will also have a stealth section in this level. I tried to make this level more than just a background, so I added a few little details.

For this update there will be mostly TC stuff, we started exploring how the interior of the Tower might look and which direction we would love to go.
For starters - just some concepts of how walls/floor tiles and some elements might look, after that the idea of having a lot of catwalks and bottomless pit was to our liking so exploration went this direction, how we can showcase it the best way. And to convey the feeling of enormous size of the tower the idea of adding parallax effect with foreground and background elements was born and here is short test how it may feel/look.
Oh and last a couple of quick concepts for how some levels may look. What do you think?

I've finished one florian x jenna animation and started work on a floria x florian animation. I think that one has been in the previous build already, but it was unfinished.
I will get these done, make the wrestling against Mina easier and do some more minor fixes before getting back into Erokin dev! :)

That's all for this Anduo Report. I'm pretty sure it's the longest we've ever written, but it's also been the longest we didn't write one, so it makes sense. I'll try to push us to be more active in writing these posts, but they're a time sink nyaaah...
