First peek at Ada

Haaaiiioooo, whatdid y'all get up to this week? Fun fun things??? I hope so!

Soooo I didn't get as much as I'd hoped I would this week cause I GOT SICK!! I didn't realize I was sick on Monday and Tuesday and kinda pushed through a bit of it which in retrospect probs should have just rested but I wound up just working slowly through the final story scenes for the Village and the edit for that part of the film. Then I took Wed and Thurs off to sleep and was back to it today, feelin' better back to the gym, 87% good to go, by tomorrow I'll be all better I'm sure. So, that's the "bad" ish news.

Good news is that it was still overall a pretty productive week! The first big chunk of the film is done (still need to do the intro story scene at the beginning, but I'll probably leave a lot of those scenes for last) Cabin and Village plus the story scenes clocked in at just over five mins, and that has already gone out to LeHorny for SFX and Kumbomb for the dubbing portion. On top of that I was able to get Ada's first artwork wrapped up, though not rigged yet, was hoping that I'd have her main action-rig all ready by today EOD but oh well, sometimes gotta give da body what it needs so it can keep rolling like you want it to.

And speakin' of Ada, I know I teased a bit but yes I can now confirm that it is a tentacle scene with her and Saddler. If you played the remake you might recognize the location where she has a boss battle with him, this was changed from the OG where she fights him on some metal catwalks, I really enjoyed the remake's atmosphere of this scene in this underground ancient ruined temple.

All-in-all, happy with where things are at and how the film is shaping up. You guys are so lovely and supportive of this project and your excitement for it gives me motivation to make it as good as I can!.

I think that's about it for today, will take the weekend easier (yes I often work weekends too lol) I'll rest up and get myself back to 100% for Monday where I'm so excited to get into Ada's rig. And then I can begin animating her! I've never really animated a tentacle scene other than that one really rushed crappy one with Gwen, but this'll be a first for me so I'm sure a lot of trial and error will go into it but I'm so pumped cause I've wanted to try my hand at a tentacle scene for so long. And Ada's part of the film was honestly one of the things I was looking forward to the most, so this boiii is all the excite.
