BMZ - Test (8/10) (WIP & PSD)

I rewrote this page a bunch of times because I didn't want it to come off as corny or too verbose but it's a love confession, it was always going to be corny. In hindsight I might have been writing from experience here, since I did have a love confession interrupted by the target shutting me up with a kiss before so, you know, it is something that can happen IRL.

I'd say it was well earned because Boomer's Big Date ended like 2 years ago and they're only now saying this out loud to each other (not to say that they've been dating for two years, I've kept that intentionally vague, but in the audience's perception it does feel like that).

I went for a gradual zoom in over the first three panels to make the impact of the fourth one stronger, which additionally made each subsequent panel easier to draw... until we get to the last panel which was a pain in the ass. You can see in the sketch that Miles' chest and Boomer's overlap a bit (if the arm wasn't there let's say they were squeezed together), I spent a long time rotating and stretching stuff to keep them proportional to each other, but I do like how it turned out.
