BMZ - Test (4/10) (WIP & PSD)

I predict this next set of strips to be a little controversial since getting tested for STDs when going into a long-term relationship is a subject matter some people find touchy and approach very differently. I know that foregoing condoms for PREP is common in the US for example.

I went with this being the main "conflict" of this set of 10 strips because first of all I thought it was funny, second because I rely a bit too much on melodrama when I write any longer story with Boomer and Miles so the conflict coming from a miscommunication is more refreshing, and finally because I personally haven't seen a lot of gay media discuss this particular situation and I figured, fuck it, guess I'll do my take on it.

I tried writing this strip with some shot-reverse shot close up of Boomer and Miles in the second and third panels so it's not just 4 panels of the two of them sitting from the same angle but I don't think the strip works if we don't see both of their facial expressions and reactions.

I might fix Boomer craning his neck into his torso for the public release, it doesn't look very good as it is now.
