May Update

Yo, everyone!

I'm so glad April is over.

Whilst April was quite a productive time for art, my motivation and energy lingered for making art because of the flu that was plaguing me for 2/3 of the whole month. This inability to create work frustrated me greatly, so for the entirety of May I will be holding off on doing commissioned work.

With that said, I'd like May to be all about creating personal art not only for this Patreon, but also to find out what kind of artistic voice I'd like to continue with. Whilst I am finding what I do incredibly fulfilling, I can't help but feel I have plateaued in terms of artistic progress. It's often hard to see progress in your art because from your point of view. Your art will never seem to change unless you compare newer art to older art. So, I'll be taking a deeper look at my files, my brushes and my process to see if I can improve what I do and make things more efficient.

Lastly, whilst this is not directly related to the Patreon page, I am intending on changing & improving my commissioned services. Clients will now have a larger information document to look over for my process as a whole, but also a much needed update to my Google Forms sheet. A few other changes regarding commissions are a price increase, as well as the retirement of the "flat colour" tier of drawings. I am truly trying to cut down on the fat and sell my art closer to what I think it's worth..
