Our Latest Project: The Disappearances of Lydia Fountayne
We are excited to announce the release of the pilot episode of The Disappearances of Lydia Fountayne - the new mystery/fantasy audio drama Thom wrote!
Every family has its secrets. Lydia is about to discover that her family has everybody else’s.
Set in a deceptively familiar world of big data, perpetual surveillance, and machine-mediated communication, The Disappearances of Lydia Fountayne follows Lydia and her friends - lovelorn Ethan and wannabe internet sensation Dee - as they struggle to discover the secrets of Lydia's identity, survive the feud over her inheritance, and unravel the mysteries of her grandfather's supernatural dominions.
Check out the trailer here, then listen to the full pilot at lydia-disappears.com or on YouTube!
Share it with your friends! Family! Acquaintances! Enemies and rivals!
And if you want to know what happens next, head on over to Kickstarter, where we're raising the money to create a complete season! (And have already been chosen as a Kickstarter "Project We Love"!)
As Thom Says:
If you loved TNN (Titans News Network) and RFS (Radio Free Shangrila), supporting this new project is the best way to get more audio drama goodness from me.
...and if you hated TNN/RFS, then good news! Helping to make this project happen is the best way to keep my audio drama urges quarantined away from the regular pod.
MSB-guest Sarah McCostumes directed, I'm a producer and voice actor on the project, and an incredible group of voice actors, composers/musicians, sound designers, and editors worked hard to bring this together. Full details about the story, cast and crew, and the plan for season 1 are available on The Disappearances of Lydia Fountayne Kickstarter page.
