I chose this one because, whilst quite literally being rough around the edges, I really feel like BMac accurately captured the essence of the 151st Pokemon. Because after all, Mew is really nothing more than a smooth, purple cat...

Back Pocket Tonight ft. the return of Austin from SkillUp
Our friend, and reviewer over at the SkillUp YouTube channel, Austin, was kind enough to join us again for the second time on our Thursday night show! And he immediately flexed those reviewer muscles you know and love to tell us all about the wonderful Metroidvania Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, as part of What We've Been Playing alongside Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, The Headliners and the newest season of Fortnite. We also debuted the arrival of The Game Plan to the main Back Pocket show, now featuring not just a week of upcoming games, but the entire month of February instead! Pete hosted his first Party Time of the year, with the aforementioned Photal Recall spawning many a visual horror amongst hosts and community members alike. And finally, we wrapped up the show with one of our favourite games from Nicrotex's Pocket Pals, Lightly Steamed.

Hope you all had a wonderful week last time around, and are settling into the new year well! Over the weekend, I actually attended by first in-person Magic: The Gathering event, which was a ton of fun, despite losing all but one of my games. It's fine though - it's all training for the Final Fantasy set they're releasing later this year, where my world-conquering MTG arc shall begin...
