Cody is very relieved. I think Willy was prepared to be a bit cool towards Cody, but he doesn't quite get the chance

Might tweak some of these expressions tomorrow, but I'm pretty pleased how my character drawing has come along this year. When I compare the latest pages of the comic with the first ones, I feel like I've made a lot of progress in working out this particular style

For my next comic, I'm already thinking about changes I want to make. I want to go back to color and off-black ink tones, and perhaps something with higher value contrast. I'm still afraid to block out shapes and be as bold as I think I can be. But all in all, I've improved a lot in a hundred pages
