Roshim feels like he has a lot on his shoulders, and he worries a lot under that stoic facade. It will become clear to the reader that he and Avalon both share some anxiety, poised at the crux of their journey to the mysterious Lord of Gold, but they both express that anxiety differently

However, the point of this scene will be to illuminate clearly how both characters feel about each other, and the exact nature of their relationship, as they look forward to this challenge together
