Josh's horns are cropped. It's a little thing but I think it says a lot. This page is a severe tone turn from the last one, but I hope it comes across as a severe self-criticism that's believable

In the first panel, I couldn't help myself but add a few details, like the clock above Josh's head and some bullshit inspirational posters. I remember walking around a car lot sales office and trying to imagine the people who worked there. Salespeople are very interesting to me

There's some threads of Josh's fascination with cars that ties to his job. The thing that fascinates you when you're young can still give you a shitty job, just proximity to the thing that interests you isn't enough for fulfillment
