In Case You Haven’t Noticed - YouTube Took Down My Channel… [ The Future Of My Content - Please Read ? ]

So on November first everything seemed normal. I was even able to upload and queue a SFW audio to go live later in the day. Then around lunchtime out of nowhere I got hit with strikes about a link to a sponsor that has anime merch citing the store contains nudity/sexual content when what hentai products they do advertise are heavily censored. Because of the strikes YouTube terminated my whole account and channel. I can’t access anything YouTube-related associated with that GMail account including secondary channels.

Nearly 800 audios are gone. I can maybe recover a couple hundred of them if I can find those backups. The rest are now lost media.

And before anyone asks - I did appeal and I did contact them on Twitter. They dug their heels in on both fronts. There’s really nothing else I can do at this point as I was never big enough to have an advocate for me at YouTube or anything. But it’s clear someone had a hate boner for me and it made the YouTube bot skim my channel until it found something possibly offensive (even though other channels are sponsored by the same store and not hit - they even link to it). It’s utterly ridiculous.

For the time being I am going to focus on content for Patreon and PHub - places I can still safely upload and share my audios. Will I make a new YouTube in the future? Most likely after the US Thanksgiving holiday when I think the dust might settle. But it won’t be exactly the same as the old one. I’m going to do my best to not toe the line as much and if I get big enough again to get sponsored to really look into then before I work with them to make sure there’s nothing YT could find offensive about them. No, I will not be moving to Reddit I tried the platform years ago and didn’t like it much.

Right now more than ever I could really use your love and support as well as your patience and understanding while I deal with this immense hassle. It’s just the cherry on top to an already very shitty year for me. And the year isn’t even over yet! So please bear with me while I deal with things even if it may take me a little while.
