Baby Eevee (my 7 month old) fell sick on Friday. We took her to the ER and they diagnosed her with something that turned out to be wrong because days passed and while her fever broke she got worse. (A rash that started on her face that spread all over slowly). We took her to the children’s urgent care yesterday and they diagnosed her with Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease which is a common infection in young children. Fortunately because she no longer has fever she’s not in any danger and no longer contagious. So we just have to wait it out until the rash clears up. I just feel bad for her because I can tell it’s making her miserable. Poor baby.

ASMR audio content is still going to be sporadic for the time being unfortunately. However I decided to purposely not work on it Wednesdays and Thursdays as those are my stream days where I go live on Twitch as Orki late in the evening and I don’t want to be too tired for that (because when I work on ASMR I get up super early and then I’m stuck up the rest of the day to handle life stuff). I hope you can understand and respect this decision. Weekends are also up in the air as my oldest kid doesn’t go to school so I have to juggle all 3 of them and husbando works weekends so I usually fly solo. I want to try to get at least 2 Patreon exclusive pieces and 1 or 2 PHub pieces up a month if it’s possible. Everything else will just come as it comes.

An orca named Tokitae (stage name Lolita) passed away unexpectedly on Friday after apparently dealing with a gut infection for a couple of days. She was the second oldest orca in captivity, over 50 years old, and the only remaining orca from the notorious Puget Sound orca captures that happened in the 60s and 70s. She was housed at the Miami Seaquarium in the oldest and smallest orca enclosure in the United States (and technically illegal by modern standards). This is particularly devastating to me as I helped various groups for the last 10 years on getting the facility to get her rehabilitation and retired to a sanctuary in her home waters off the coast of Washington State. The new owners of MSQ actually agreed to it earlier this year after many decades of groups struggling with the previous owners. She was even being trained to get ready for transport later this year/early next year when this tragedy happened. My heart goes out to the late Ken Balcomb (who passed away not too long ago and was a huge mentor figure to me) and his family, Howard Garret with Orca Network, Friends of Tokitae, and the tribal peoples of the Lummi Nation, as well as all the other individuals and groups who spent tireless years trying to get this beautiful soul out of her horrid conditions and returned home to her family (it is presumed her own mother may still even be alive and identified as orca L25 aka Ocean Sun). Please keep these people and the Southern Resident orca community in your thoughts as this has been a major blow to conservation efforts of that particular endangered orca eco type. If you want to learn more there’s lots of content about her on YouTube and I recommend the old film “Lolita: Spirit In The Water” which is also on YT. This has saddened me a great deal as when my grandparents were still alive they only lived an hour from MSQ and I had seen her numerous times as a child and young adult. I really loved and appreciated this special being as much as any of my own companion animals.

Another reason ASMR content is going to be sporadic is my 3 year old MacBook Pro I’ve been heavily using to make the content ever since my HP Omen PC died summer of last year is starting to hate me. It’s nearly out of hard drive space and has been complaining at me about memory usage. Unlike PCs Macs can’t really be taken apart and upgraded. Thanks Apple. But I use some proprietary software that I like better than what’s available for PC. Until I can get a good solid backup hard drive to hook up and move all the old stuff over to free up space and clean things up it may become physically near impossible to make anything for a little while. Because good backup drives are pricey and currently out of my budget I put one up I found that should work on my Throne wishlist: https://throne.com/KittiMinx . By no means feel obligated to help me out with this but anything put towards it will be greatly appreciated. There are other things on my Throne too that will help with Fansly stuff and ASMR content as well as nice things for my 3 kids. Just giving y’all a heads up!

D-Knight and I are working on a comic/doujin together! (Yes we are still in marriage counseling and one thing she suggested to improve things was to find something to work on with each other.) We are doing the writing and story boarding and commissioning various artists for the comic pages, cover, and filler art. It will be about best girl Takara and his OC Marcus featuring a lot of underwater naughty time. Think of it as a prequel before the beginning of the Takara audio storyline. It will be made available on here for you all to see as a test audience and if it’s liked we’ll make more and make it it’s own separate thing maybe doing other stuff with other characters too! Just something to look forward to!
