Update - At The Funeral ?

Yesterday my mom and I flew out to where my grandmother lived. We met up up with my uncle. This morning we had the funeral and laid my grandmother to rest next to my grandfather. Now she’s finally at peace.

The AI art I added to this post is what generated when I described her appearance based on the photos of when she was young. It actually looks pretty accurate! My grandmother was a painter and appreciated art in all its forms. I wonder what she would think about AI? Would she be impressed or scoff at it? Perhaps she and my grandfather are arguing about it right now (they had silly playful arguments all the time).

We’re flying home tomorrow afternoon as I can’t be away from the kids super long with Eevee being so little. I’ll be sitting Shiva for a week but content may still happen depending on how I’m feeling. We shall see.

Thank you all for your understanding and patience while I deal with all this. It’s a lot to process. First Eevee coming over a month early and now losing my grandmother… it’s a lot. But I’m managing. And I’m eternally grateful to all of you. ❤️✨
