Major Update - Melvor Idle 2 v0.7.0-alpha
Welcome to our next Major update which introduces a brand new Passive Skill, plus many other goodies for you to enjoy.
This update is now available on Steam. Restart Steam to receive the update immediately.

New Skill: Ranching
Ranching has been added to the game as a Passive Skill.
7 Animals are available to look after, with others due to arrive in the near future.
Be sure to watch the Animals if you get bored.

Farming - The Mill
Added The Mill to Farming, unlocked from the Shop in the Farming category.
The Mill allows you to create products such as Grain, Flour & Sugar passively in Farming.
Added Wheat & Sugarcane, plus their seeds which can be obtained from Bird/Eagle Nests.
Added new "Mill Farm" category to Farming, unlocked alongside The Mill, providing plots to grow Wheat & Sugarcane.
Farming - Other
Added the remaining high level Herb and Orchard Seeds to the Shop.
Doubled the stock of Herb and Orchard Seeds in the Shop.
Seed & Compost selection tooltip now shows names and quantities of required items.
Reduced Ultra Compost Duskleaf requirement to 100, down from 500
Farming - Plot & Shop GP Cost Changes
Allotment 10: 40M -> 20M
Herb 9: 20M -> 10M
Herb 10: 75M -> 30M
Orchard 5: 25M -> 15M
Orchard 6: 100M -> 35M
Compost 6: 25M -> 10M
Farmhand IV (Shop): 30M->10M
Cooking Recipes
Added 6 new "Recipe Bases" to the "Basic Recipes" category
Added 25 new Intermediate Recipes
Added 4 new Advanced Recipes
Cooking Mastery Guild
Mastery Guild has been added to Cooking with 144 tasks in total.
Note: Rewards for the Guild are relatively empty as most will assist with Combat-related bonuses like healing values and such.
Pets
Pets have been added to the game, with 1 Pet per existing Skill added.
Acquiring these Pets are RNG, and rolls every time you receive XP in the Skill. The higher the XP, the higher the chance to get the Pet.
These Pets have also been added as an Expert task to their respective Mastery Guilds.
Pets have been added to the Completion Log as part of your Completion percentage.
Our plan for Pets is to have many per Skill, with a combination of RNG and task-based unlocks.
Note: The Pets currently don't have artwork or bonuses. These are on the way!
Creation Steps for Crafting, Fletching & Runecrafting
Reworked the recipe creation process, adding creation steps to the above-mentioned Skills, in line with how Smithing works.
XP and GP rates of recipes have been adjusted accordingly to be as close to old rates as possible.
Some products also received updated recipes to match the new creation step system.
Mastery Guild tasks for these Skills have been adjusted to match new item rates, with most of the tasks now requiring less of the product. This change reduces preparation time to complete the guilds by ~50%.
Runecrafting Changes
Wizard Gear now requires Wool or Silk, changed from Leather.
Adjusted levels that Wizard Gear unlocks to ensure they unlock in a consistent and clear order.
XP values have been adjusted to match new level unlocks.
Crafting Changes
Added new Tanning section to Crafting where you can create Leather and Dragonhides.
Added "Tan's Tanning Emporium" unlock to the Crafting Mastery Guild, which is accessed in the Shop within the Crafting category.
Artisan UI Rework
Reworked the Artisan UI (except for Cooking) in an effort to improve the flow of creating and selecting items.
Other New Stuff
Added new default sorting to Mastery Guild Tasks, where it will display the most recently progressed tasks first.
Added an Interface setting to turn this sorting method off.
Shop now shows the cost of locked purchases.
Added Wool, Silk, Cowhide and Dragonhides to the Shop temporarily until proper active methods of obtaining are introduced.
Added current Bank value to recent items found tooltip.
Added quantity label to Fishing bait buttons.
Changing Notifications audio setting will now play a sound to help with determining desired volume.
Bird Nests now always give an Empty Bird Nest.
Eagle Nests now always give an Empty Eagle Nest.
Added Seaweed Clump to Dock Waters and Tuna Run in Fishing.
Seaweed Clump can now be opened in the Bank to provide Seaweed.
Updated the Loading Screen.
Localization Support
Added complete localization support to the game, allow us to easily support any language we decide to add in the future.
Note: Please report any issues with word/number formatting you may spot, as this change touched literally every single UI node in the game.
Core
Updated to Godot 4.5.1, which also comes with many fixes to engine issues some may have experienced.
Re-enabled threaded scene loading, which was broken in Godot 4.4.x.
Added support for Modifiers to be applied to runtime context objects.
Added support for Triggers, which allows for things to happen when something is... triggered.
Setup automated Steam deployment for new game releases.
Setup automated codesigning for Windows builds.
Bug Fixes
Fix various issues relating to UI trying to update before a save is loaded.
Fix incorrect task category for one of the Adamantite Bar tasks in Smithing.
Fix missing green toggle visual for current rock being mined.
Fix incorrect Sprinklers III & IV unlock level in the Shop.
Fix double up on button audio for hold to buy farming plot button.
Fix the "Select" buttons on farming plots not making any noise when hovering over them.
Fix incorrect and missing automations for some crops in Farming.
Fix Increased Special Item Chance is not being listed in the Fishing Modifiers.
Fix "Products Harvested" statistic in Farming resetting when re-loading the game.
Fix Eagle Nests not being affected by +1 bonus in Woodcutting.
Fix event log showing in front of pause menu.
Fix scaling issues for Fishing sea bed
Fix the daytime background being shown from 8PM to 12AM, but only when set to "Custom" time of day cycle type.
Fix crash in Mining due to broken UI node update.
Fix currency notifications showing in green if the value is negative.
Fix incorrect Jadestone Bolt unlock in Fletching.
