SURVIVING PURGE update #3
Hello orcs!
I'm cuming to show you our progress on the tower defense game we're working on!

Our very talented artist (Vliir) was able to create the background for the first battlefield, design the first 3 recruits you'll be able to use, as well as the visible UI during combat.


Working with Vliir for a second week was a real pleasure! But it also made me realize that we can't move forward fast enough at this pace. We've offered him to join the team for 3 months (and maybe a lot more…), so that we can finish developing at least a demo of the game! Fingers crossed he accepts...!

The code

Chewy has also finished a first version of the level editor! The original draft I had in mind for this editor was rather archaic, but Chewy immediately came up with something much more relevant. His editor lets me create levels by choosing which enemies will appear, the number of enemies and on which line they should appear.
I've also reworked the first goblins a little to add skills. One of the goblins will be able to attack from a distance by throwing his spear, and another will be able to attack several of your recruits at once with his long spear. I can't wait to start designing the first levels! (don't mind the gobelins with orcs head instead, Chewy used my old sprites for the editor)
