Desert Polyp
“Polyps are part of the Filis - a sentient plant. Those tranquil giants (very slowly) roam the edges between desert and more fertile lands, and help with holding the sands back by naturally seeding them with spores. Exceedingly useful.
I do have to insist on the ‘tranquil’ part - they are potent water sources and are not bothered when an ysleria walks up to them, taps them and fills a couple of jugs.”
