Battle of the lenses.

Yesterday I was telling you about the arrival of the ZEISS Planar T* 1.4/85 ZF (Nikon mount), lounged in 2009, and how I'm going to call it "Martin", from the name of one kind Patron that decided to sponsor this purchase with a specific stand alone contribution.

In the future, I will have to remember what lens I'm using a little bit better, because the mirrorless cameras do not record this data, and after some time I tend to forget.
In the case of today's photo of Cristiana, I'm pretty sure the lens I used was the Canon FD 135mm f3,5, inexpensive lens donated by a follower, but capable of great results!

Starting from today's shooting, I'm planning to use the Fujifilm GFX as the main camera, mostly with the lenses that proved capable of covering the larger sensor.
The Leica SL2-S is going to serve as the backup camera, and eventually for faster candids and with proven lenses.

But I also want to fish out all the "forgotten lenses", possibly one for every shooting, to exploit all the treasures I have hidden away.
I will mount these "forgotten lenses" on the Panasonic S1, with the internal stabilization turned on, to maximize the performances of every lens and give it a fair chance to fight against the new Zeiss 85mm f1,4.

I frequently tease my wife, saying that what I find more exciting during my shootings are not the nude models, but the chance to use my sexy lenses, and we both laugh, but I suspect there's more than one grain of truth in what I'm telling her...

Look out for the first teaser of my new model tomorrow, most probably it is going to be one shot with the new Zeiss lens.
