Looking at our future straight in the eyes.

Deciding which and where to post the 2 pictures of today was a difficult choice!
This first shooting with Barbora is extremely important for me, and I didn't want to give away too much about the various corner of the house.

I have a long sequence of photos in the corridor, shot on the Leica SL2-S + the Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f1.7.
This lens is growing on me, because it is the perfect blend of sharpness and smooth bokeh wide open, with a classic Zeiss pop.
I'm keeping this photo for my Patreon Community, and the secret about how the corridor looked like.

I also have plenty of photos shot in the corner I've selected for my regular social media feed, most of them shot with the GFX + "Martin", but only very few shot on the Panasonic Lumix S1 + the Nikon 105mm f1.8 AI-s (the latest copy I got in great conditions).
This was the "wild card" lens of this shooting, I used it briefly, and numerous photos I made with it are out of focus and will be discarded.
But the few good ones are spectacular, like the one I will post elsewhere later today, making this lens a new favorite (but I can't underestimate the difficulty of using it!)
Having said that, the ones shot on medium format GFX are even better, so this corner of the apartment is keeping his secret a little bit longer...

The secret I couldn't keep from you right from the first picture of Barbora I showed you, is how she is a talented model, and how she is capable of making every new photo a masterpiece.
I believe the talent of Martina is innate, she is just a natural born poser.
But, I suspect the talent of Barbora is of a different kind, and comes from hard work.
Anyway, whatever the origin, Barbora's talent is undeniable.
I don't think she is as pretty as Martina, but she manages to convey the same confidence in every picture, and possibly an even greater variety of expressions compared to Martina (judge for yourself by looking at both of today's photos).

I'm so grateful for having added this new model to my project, and she is just one year older than Martina when we met for the first time, so I should have plenty of opportunities to work with Barbora in the future.
I will still chase Martina around for a long time, hoping to place her in front of my camera again, but we also have to look to future prospects, and Barbora appears to be one of the best candidate for the development of my project.
Barbora is not a casual model like Ania, that we enjoy so much but that is always going to put her academic studies in front of the modeling work: Barbora is a pro model that really wants and need this job, and she is also looking at her plan B, which is setting up an agency to provide gigs for her fellow models.
So on the one hand I'm confident about the chance to work with her more and more, and on the other hand she might also provide some new models for the Bramley Apple Project.

I can see my future here, and I love it!
