This time, the coloring was done by a method called glazing. Glazing is a technique in which shadows and textures are drawn in gray in advance, and colors are added on top of the shadows and textures later. As you have probably seen, this technique is often used by artists who draw delicate pictures.

The advantage of glazing is that it allows for very detailed and careful drawing and the expression of textures such as fine irregularities. The disadvantages are that it can take forever if you don't find the right moment to stop, and you are directly confronted with the expression of textures that you don't have the knowledge or experience to express.

I spent a lot of time and energy on this technique, but I think it was a very good experience for me. It gave me the experience of experimenting with glazing, and I was able to use the knowledge I had gained from my other work here. It was also a great discovery to clarify what I could not do.
