Request | Levy McGarden (Fairy Tail) Set | 42 Images

You stepped into the quiet of the guild’s private library, the scent of aged parchment and wood welcoming you like an old friend. The warm light from a nearby lamp spilled across the worn rug and high wooden shelves, catching in the dust motes that floated lazily in the air. Books were scattered here and there, clearly the aftermath of someone’s deep dive into research.

And sure enough, nestled between a small mountain of open volumes, was Levy.

Her legs were tucked beneath her on the rug, a stack of books to one side, and a half-empty mug of tea cooling beside her. She hadn’t noticed you at first—her attention buried in the pages of some old magical script, her lips moving slightly as she read to herself. But as you moved closer, the faint creak of the floor gave you away.

Her head turned, and her eyes lit up instantly. “Hey! I didn’t think anyone else would be here this late,” she said with a soft laugh, brushing a lock of her blue hair behind her ear. “You caught me mid-research mode.”

You smiled and took a seat beside her on the rug. The heat from the lamp and the coziness of the space made it feel like its own little world, far removed from the usual chaos of the guild.

“I could use a second opinion,” she said, nudging one of the books toward you. “Or at least some company. It’s kind of nice having someone to share the quiet with.”

As you leaned closer to read, your arms brushed. Levy didn’t pull away. Instead, she looked at you sideways, her expression thoughtful, playful even. “Y’know,” she said softly, “I like this. Just... us. And books. And no explosions for once.”

She shifted slightly, just enough for her knee to rest lightly against yours. “You always show up at the right time,” she added, her voice dipping a little lower. “Even when I don’t realize I need the distraction.”

You turned to say something, but Levy was already looking at you—really looking at you. The flicker of light reflected in her eyes, and there was something else there too. A quiet question. A spark that had nothing to do with the books around you.

“I mean…” She tilted her head, her smile growing a bit more mischievous. “I could go back to reading... or…”

Her fingers trailed just slightly across the page, but her gaze never left yours.

“...we could take a little break.”

The space between you wasn’t much—but it felt heavy with tension now. The kind that made your heart beat just a little faster, the kind that didn’t come from any magic spell.

“After all,” she murmured, leaning in, “there’s more than one kind of story worth getting lost in.”
