Hammer Down

For the next one up this month, I decided to work on Mirrorwatch Reinhardt (from Overwatch 2)!! ??

For anyone unfamiliar with Overwatch 2, Reinhardt is one of the tanks from the game, and has always been a bit of a Daddy…

For the Mirrorwatch event, however, it’s kind of an “evil twin” situation… so this is a villainous version of the character… ?

So… I had some fun with him. I had this vision of Rein in a locker room putting on his boots and exuding authority, and that idea led me to here. I added some textures, halftones etc. which, along with the colouring style, was aiming for that comic energy I’ve been trying to tap into lately.

For you Beasts, you’ll have variants in here with different backgrounds, finishes, ’sticker’ versions (with no background) and of course all the usual work files, 4k versions, palettes etc.
