DaCosta Coffee

The next pic of the month is the Solo Poll winner, Roberto da Costa [aka Sunspot] (from X-Men '97)!! ?

For this one, I again tried to incorporate some comic elements into the pic to get an overall piece I was happy with.

I like to make sure I’m happy with any image I put out. Often I tend to pick them apart a little and feel like I could have done better, or there might be something I was aiming for but didn’t quite achieve.

Bobby here is a perfect example of one of the less common situations where I look at a finished pic and am very pleased with it!! ?

I can’t quite explain why, but much like Cap’s pasties in last week’s pic, it just feels more like me (or like who I want to be, at least).

Again, like with Cap, I held myself back a little from more detailed blending in the colouring stage.

You Beasts will have variants in there as usual with different backgrounds, different finishes, with/without cream in his coffee (?) and versions that I refer to as my “show” variants which are more of a cut-edge style to be closer to the style in the show… and of course all of the usual 4K versions of everything, work files, timelapses etc.

I hope you all enjoy Bobby - and hopefully you’re not as careless as he is and don’t spill your cream all over yourself… ?
