Wildcard

For the first pic of the month, I’m working on Gambit (from X-Men ‘97)!!

X-Men ‘97 has been my new obsession in TV shows lately, and I think doing Cyclops last month only increased the level of thirst for the guys in this show!! So, I decided my first pic for this month would be our resident Beignet Buddy himself, Gambit!!

After a couple of false starts with poses that felt too familiar to recent pics I’ve done, I decided to go with this idea. The original inception is the first version (upside down), but I did it in such a way that the inverted one also works (if that’s what you prefer).

I wanted to incorporate a few classic comic style ideas in here, with various textures & halftones too.

You Beasts will have some variants in here with some differences in backgrounds, Different colour stories, with/without the outline & both in original orientation and right-side up (or upside down… depending on how you look at it!! ?There are also some “Playing Card” variants I played with that I quite liked in the end. And of course, you’ll have all of the usual stuff of course (4K, Timelapses, Workfiles etc.).
