Big changes! Themes, Dungeondraft Overhaul full release schedule, icons update
I'm implementing some changes in May!
I will be launching a new Monthly Theme system, starting for June! It will be not dissimilar from my old monthly theme schema back when I was doing Miscellanea Maps, but with a couple changes.
DnDungeon Lords will be able to suggest themes for the following month, during the 1st week of the month — concepts for the month to focus on.
All patrons will be able to vote on themes the following week.
Once the theme is decided, DnDungeon Lords will be able to suggest & vote on specific map concepts within the theme, as per the current map poll structure.
The DnDungeon Dungeondraft Asset Overhaul will be going to go to full release near the end of May. In practice, that means:
It will get a real page on the DnDungeon website! Which means it will also be obtainable from outside the Patreon, for those of you interested. DnDungeon Lords will continue to receive updates to the core pack & all future asset releases.
Additional updates will be either themed packs published as standalone releases, or direct general updates to the core pack. Either way, both will be folded into the core Dungeondraft overhaul shortly after publication.
I will be totally overhauling the tagging system & file structure to be consistent, clearer, & uniquely organized independently from Dungeondraft's default tagging system, which was never a good or long-term viable tagging system.
Assets will be released as 300ppi ZIP archives alongside the Dungeondraft packs, for usage in other programs.
I will also finally develop a proper commercial license for the assets, for those of you interested in module creation or third-party licensing.
Note: Iconography & Website Change
The website's been moved to dndungeon.com from cyclopean.net! Because like 95% of what I publish is under DnDungeon anyways. Cyclopean is just an LLC. Nobody needs to care about it but me until I launch a second project. All links to cyclopean.net will forward to the new web domain, so there shouldn't be a problem. Let me know if one crops up!
On a similar note & for that reason, I also did up a new more appropriate logo for DnDungeon! (I know this is another thing that only I care about, but hey.)
Updates to the DnDungeon Blueprint Assets Pack
In case some of you are interested, I have made several updates to the Blueprint Assets over the last couple months, & the latest update was published today! The pack now supports the Building Tool, the Cave Tool, the Material Tool, and also contains a set of new patterns such as a grid for selective gridded mapping!
Reminder
Sincerely thankful for all of you. I've got a big secret project under way. Gonna be a couple months before I can talk about it, so stay tuned!
