Ribbed sails, a brightly-painted hull, and golden decor across the hull — it’s a junk ship map! Cargo options include slavers, a hull stuffed with treasures, or a merchant’s general cargo, and there’s a set of blank sea maps including a cyclone as well.

Thoughts

• Historically, wherever the doctor was operating was known as the “cockpit”. This ship has a fixed cockpit, & the slaver version doubles as a torture room..!

• Say one of those cargo chests in the treasure junk variant is stuffed full of metal beetle ‘jewelry’. Living beetle jewelry that happens to weevil-style infest other mundane treasure nearby. And convert it into more beetles.

• Junk Ship: A four-floor junk ship, counting the sails & top deck, with several alternate decks featuring varying cargo & equipment!

• Blood Ocean: Algae bloom or bad omen? Maybe it’s just a blood moon tonight — water is reflective, after all. Wouldn’t want to go fishing though.

• Empty Ocean: A big ocean map for stranded scenes or boat token battles! Blood ocean included too.

• Cyclone: Tornadoes give me the creeps. Know what’s even worse than a tornado? A waterspout. The nighttime one has an eerie green hue that I think could be used for a plane-of-air type scene, too, or maybe Jupiter (or Giant’s Deep, if you also played Outer Wilds…).

• Transparent Tokens: The boat decks as transparent files, individual & cut down to size!

• Merged Decks: The boat decks cut down & merged together into single images for ease of use in VTTs, if you want to make use of all floors & don’t need the extra space.

• Ocean Sky: A big wide-open sky map far above an atoll on the ocean. Nothing but you & the clouds.

• Day/Night/Rain Variants: Wherever applicable!

• Ship tokens are 14"×32" wide/tall
