A date with Nik

So Nik took me to a late night Korean barbecue. A man after my own heart! I gotta say, I’m impressed. This guy eats A LOT! It’s the first time someone out-eats me at an all-you-can eat restaurant. Is it weird that I find that kinda sexy?

Anyway, I got to know a bit more about my mentor. I learned that he enjoys food a lot, that he likes to try new things as often as possible, and that he’s into old horror movies. He also told me that he lost his mom a few years ago like me, and that most of his family still lives in Greece, so the guys at Cabaret Bara feel a bit like a second family for him.

He admitted that he wanted to take me out because he noticed that I was sad after my friend went back to the US. I didn’t know he paid attention to that. At work, he’s usually pretty “straight to the point”. But after tonight, he doesn’t just feel like my mentor anymore...
