Lord of the Hunt + Arawni

I could have sworn on my life these were posted here already. Apparently memory is an illusion or the search system on patreon is a hot turd.
------
Basic rundown.

Lord of the Hunt

The Lord of the Hunt is your archetypal hunt lord archfey. He's a little over 6ft tall, and his neck up is a wooden effigy of a stern and server stag carved out of hard bronzy wood, polished stained and decorated with great care. Moonstones are set into the neck and forhead and a large moonstone disc hovers between the antlers, which also hover alongside the ears.

The expression on their face can shift, though they rarely open their mouth to speak. They are quite withdrawn, all things considered. The LotH's other form is his hunting state shown on the right. Only donned during the Great hunt which occurs every 10 years.

---
The Arawni

Homebrew fey shit. The subjects native to the LotH's realm. They are either the game or the hound, with their personalities shifting greatly between the two. This shift between states ONLY occurs at the end of The Great Hunt every 10 years, or when the LotH himself wills it.

During The Great Hunt, all Arawni of adult age enter a battle of death and wit. Hounds stalk and attempt to devour Game, while the Game attempt to outwit and outmatch the Hounds. Death is common in the hunt, and it's seen as a very honorable event in Arawni culture. The LotH himself participates in it, hunting down the Arawni that have survived a great number of hunts, thus proving themselves to be worthy quarry. Those hunted down by the LotH are reborn as their hide is added to his trophies. This is an extreme honor.

Even outside of the fey realm, all Arawni feel the call of the hunt and know intrinsically when it will occur. They are instinctively drawn back to the feywilds to participate. If they can't, or if they resist the call, they may face severe consequences ranging from being ostracized to having hunting packs set upon them should their infraction be severe.

At the end of a Hunt, surviving Arawni swap to the other state, while those slain are reborn into new lives with little memory of who they were before.
