The Ancient Maze: Pup Hades Prize!

We have this travel size, cute papa bear, who while exploring the maze encountered something much bigger than he was expecting to deal with…

And here’s Pup Hades’s entry:

Entry #1

The task I’ve been given is simple: to investigate the “labyrinth” within the exclusion zone. Since its discovery more than four-hundred years ago, there has been no recorded instance in which a person has returned after entering it. Due to the nature of this mission, I’ve been equipped with a tracking device to report my location to authorities.

Entry #2

Upon initial inspection of the exclusion zone, nothing seems outwardly amiss. The only thing worth noting is the unusual musky odor that hangs heavily in the air around the air, likely due to the wildlife or something.

Entry #3

As if contrary to my previous entry, something strange happened—as I approached the labyrinth’s entrance, my equipment began malfunctioning; likely a contributing factor to the disappearances. I’m not afraid, however. I've had years of survival and combat training, so I shall proceed as normal.

Entry #4

It has been a few hours since my last update. The pungent, musky odor lingering air that I noticed when I arrived hasn’t disappeared, but instead gotten stronger. It’s almost overpowering, but that’s not the forefront of my concerns right now—I suspect I’m not alone down here. In my wanderings, I’ve passed by a number of signs: fresh hoof marks in the dirt, scrape marks on the walls and strange noises I can’t quite explain. It seems much larger than what ive been trained to deal with. I think it’s for the best that I abandon this mission; I have a sinking feeling about this place that I just can’t shake.

Entry #5

I … couldn’t bring myself to turn back. I’m not sure why, but I just couldn’t help it. All I can think about is this damn smell. It’s strong enough to give me a headache, and yet I find that I’m … drawn to it? It sounds absurd as I’m writing this, but I need to figure out what its source is. I’m going to continue deeper. Entry #6 I’ve found the center of the maze. There’s nothing here that seems to be the source of the disappearances, only the evidence that something—or someone—has been living here. The musky scent lured me here, and though I should feel frightened by this revelation, I feel … not like myself. I hear something approaching this room. I should be terrified, but I cannot bring myself to leave. I’ll add another entry when—
