The Ancient Maze: A YCH contest!

Good day, everyone! It’s time for another YCH contest, and this time we’re gonna get lost for a bit in this ancient maze. What will we find? Or better yet, what, or who’s gonna find us…?

Ready to explore? In 400 words or less tell us a bit about you and your logs describing your journey: How you’ve heard of this maze, what drives you to explore it, what do you expect to find? Any observations, feelings of peril? All these events right BEFORE being found by the beast residing in the maze…

RULES:

• Participant must be an active patron.

• Submissions must be 400 words or less and submitted in the comment section.

• Contest ends on April 28 at 11:59, winners will be announced on April 30.

• All character represented must be adult males, furry or human characters allowed.

• Winners of last YCH contest are free to participate but are not eligible to win.

BOTH ENTRIES DID A GREAT JOB IN THEIR RESPECTIVE WAYS: WE ENJOYED THE DESCRIPTIONS AND ATMOSPHERE THAT R CREATED AND THE OMINOUS TENSION THAT ESCALATED IN PUP HADES’S STORY.

WE JUST LOVED THE PERSONAL REASON WHY HIS CHARACTER EMBARKED ON THIS QUEST, A “FOOLS ERRAND” ACCORDING TO HIM, IT FELT VERY SYMPATHETIC!

WE LOVED THE SETTING FOR HIS STORY: A KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT PROUD AND ARROGANT SURVEYOR OF A CONQUERING NATION EXPLORING VAST RUINS THAT EXCEEDED HIS EXPECTATIONS AND BROUGHT HIS DOWNFALL INTO THE CLUTCHES OF THE BEAST THAT INHABITS THE MAZE.
