Sydney Sweeney Genie [Sketch Pages]

Hey gang,

A few years back (circa 2022) I had an idea for a short comic in which a young thief finds the classic magic lamp and awakens a buxom, blonde genie, who then grants him three wishes. I knew the story would revolve around the kid outsmarting the ancient genie, finding a loophole in the "no wishing for more wishes" rule, and eventually bimbofying and enslaving the genie forever. It was a fun little short story idea but other, bigger projects took precedence and it fell by the wayside.

Recently, however, the repeated requests for a Sydney Sweeney/Genie pin-up have had this story at the forefront of my mind again, and I decided to take a swing at it. My process is much looser and faster than it was in 2022, and I'm more confident in breaking down a story quickly with sketch-quality pages, which I can then add dialogue over and call complete.

And, since you all know I love me some Sydney, I took it as a fun challenge to do a comic with her as a likeness. I don't do this often, and I don't expect it to be perfect -- it's more that the character is BASED on Sydney's appearance. But I do want to improve at rendering her, and this will offer that opportunity.

Here are the first five pages from the comic I'm tentatively calling "I Dream of Sweeney." No dialogue or sound effects yet, but you should be able to follow the story purely through visuals (that's always my goal).
